The platform is designed to enhance the financial experience for individuals who want to do more with their checking accounts.
We are looking for a Data Analyst to help in transforming raw data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations. Your responsibilities will revolve around collecting, processing, analysing, and interpreting data to provide valuable observations and support data-driven decision-making within an organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Gathering data from various sources, which may include databases, spreadsheets, APIs, and other data repositories
  • Ensuring data accuracy and consistency by cleaning, validating, and organising data for analysis
  • Design and develop complex data queries to move and transform data from operational data sources to analytical databases
  • Build informative and user-friendly dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track business metrics, allowing stakeholders to have a real-time view of the company's performance
  • Participate in the Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process, ensuring data from different sources is cleansed, transformed, and loaded into Amazon Redshift for analysis
  • Work with data engineers and architects to design data models within Amazon Redshift, enabling efficient querying and reporting
  • Use Metabase, Tableau, and/or Power BI to explore and analyse data from various sources, including Amazon Redshift, databases, and other data warehouses
  • Develop clear visualisations to convey complicated data in a straightforward way using Metabase, Tableau, and/or Power BI to the stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a data analyst (1-2 years), with specific experience working with Amazon Redshift or other cloud-based data warehousing platforms
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis - Familiarity with data visualisation tools like Metabase, Tableau, Power BI
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience with ETL processes and data modelling is good to have.
